Fountain Valley Royal Regiment Alumni

To all Alumni FVHS marching band members – FVHS can use your help on Friday, Oct 28. If you can still play an instrument, join more than 30 alumni members at a FVHS Home football game playing as a FV pep band. The FVRR will be in Vegas and Utah for a Bands of America Tournament and FVHS would still like to have a band at the game.

Details: Oct 28 at Huntington Beach HS – call time is 6:30pm on the home side of the stands just to the left of the pressbox (facing the box). Just show your instrument and that will be your ticket to get in - at the home side main gate or at the normal band field entrance gate. 7pm kick off and over around 9:15pm. Wear any FV shirts, jackets if possible (not needed). Music will be at the game. More fun…

Optional Rehearsal and party

Saturday, Oct 22 from 4:30-5:30 – Optional rehearsal in room 310 (band room) at FV (near the gym). I will help with the rehearsal and have pep music for you to take home. Instruments can be checked out if needed. The FVRR will finish up a rehearsal at 6:30 on the band field. So we can also walk out to the field to watch part of the rehearsal. THEN off to Silky’s for more fun and old stories.

Sign Up – Email    gwampler@fvhs.com

Email Mr. Wampler if you can do the rehearsal and/ or the game.   You can see more about the FVRR at www.fvhsmusic.com and click on Alumni.

One thing is certain with the FVRR, as Mr. Wampler and Mr. Irons always say…
“The success of our program is driven by our past Senior Classes.”  Lead by example and to have the desire to set new exciting standards is common with our past seniors.
