Hello! It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2010-2011 season of our award winning Fountain Valley Royal Regiment! The Regiment is comprised of our Marching Band, Color Guard, Percussion, and Orchestra Units. Together, these sections proudly represent Fountain Valley High School’s commitment to quality music education and performance. Our members strive for nothing less than excellence. Students, we are thrilled you have joined our elite music program. Your time, dedication and hard work will be rewarded in the valuable leadership and time management skills you will develop. You will strengthen your musical and performance expertise and learn the value of team building while having fun, making new friends, and sharing precious memories. Our Mission Statement The Royal Regiment Booster organization was formed to provide organizational and financial support to the Fountain Valley Royal Regiment (Band, Color Guard, Percussion, and Orchestra), to develop avenues of communication between the school and community, and to foster a closer relationship between parents and students. This year will be bittersweet for me. I have been associated with the Royal Regiment for the past five years, and with the graduation of my student in 2011, my active involvement with the Royal Regiment will end. I cannot tell you how much being a part of this organization has added to my family’s enjoyment of the high school experience here at FVHS. Time has passed so fast, but the memories we make here will last forever. I encourage everyone, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, or friends to get involved with our organization. Our boosters provide much needed support for our hardworking directors, staff, and students. Your gift of time and assistance throughout the year will be repaid many times over with priceless memories you and your student will share. Do not miss this chance to get involved and make a difference in your student’s life. It is only through your dedication and commitment that our program can continue to grow and thrive.
