Booster Projects

Special thanks to everyone (about nine) working so well on Saturday - (90% was finished)
Doing what you ask...we moved the room 310 back speaker to the front, repaired the front cabinet door, re-wired the room sound system, repaired and painted the chaperone wagon (baron blue), removed all the old flooring in the small trailer & water proof the wood floor, repaired Kate's rehearsal podium wheels, started on the old silver podium, replaced the small trailer hitch wheel & crank, and we now have internet control next to the white board in 310 for our new projector repaired a power cord, repaired a percussion ratch, and repaired the pit sub woofer cable ...maybe more...

Projects as of 9/20/08
Keep all receipts and turn them in to the Director

Next Project Day is Saturday 9/27/08  9am-12:30pm (during the morning field camp)
(The front ensemble "pit" will be rehearsing inside 310)
Finish the small trailer floor - install the flooring (old is removed and wood is now water proof)
Finish the old silver podium & paint it black
Repair & paint the two front field podiums
Replace & repair any problem wheels on all instruments 
Repair & replace any problem wheels on all equipment (speakers etc)
Install large wheels (OCC specs) on the bass drum, gong, & bells.
Repaint the "standing area" platforms on the main practice podium and staff tower (three levels) - dark paint with texture (skid) coat - 12:30-1pm (during the lunch break)

Future Projects (TBA)
Install in the main band room - two new back speakers, a center speaker, and sub :)

Future Major Project (date TBA)...might need double hours on this one???
Help the school maintenance replace the room 310 ceiling panels with the proper 1" fiber acoustic panels.
Our district has purchased $7,000 of special sound panels to reduce the ring and db's in the room (main room and ensemble room)
Phase II will be to place special acoustic panels on the walls to help even more (contract out on this).
